The Harpactira Dictator is a terrestrial Tarantula that will require a moderate depth of substrate with the addition of some hides to provide an environment that will feel secure for the Tarantula. Their colouration is predominantly various shades of brown with darker patterns on the carapace and abdomen.
The temperament of the Harpactira Dictator is defensive and on par with most of the Baboon species. This Tarantula is very capable of delivering a painful bite and won’t hesitate to do so if it feels threatened so experience of fast, defensive old worlds is recommended. This is a very hardy Tarantula with a medium growth rate and is growing in popularity within the hobby.
