Philodendron is an ideal terrarium plant, loving high humidity and even, consistently damp soil with good drainage as well as being particularly easy going with light requirements. Although tolerant, low humidity and dry conditions are not preferred conditions for Philodenderon. This species is a quick grower under ideal conditions and is a vigorous climber, if kept pruned or the growing tips pinched, it will however produce side shoots & stay compact.
While it’s normal for older leaves to yellow, if this happens to several leaves at the same time, the plant may be getting too much light. On the other hand, if the stems are long and leggy with several inches between leaves, the plant probably isn’t getting enough light.
Droopy leaves can mean that the plant is getting too much or not enough water. But the leaves recover quickly when you correct the watering schedule
