Woodland Bioactive Starter Kit
Keepers regularly contact us, wanting to turn their enclosure into a natural, or Bioactive, system. However, many are brand new to this style of keeping so are looking for that guiding hand to take them along.
Because of this, we have devised a new range of Bioactive Kits. Aimed at some of the more common species of Reptiles kept, whilst also being suitable for a range of other species with similar husbandry requirements.
The new Bioactive Herps Woodland Bioactive Kit has been specially designed for keepers who want to mimic the Woodland regions of the Bearded Dragons, Royal Pythons, Corn Snakes or more. This range creates a Soft, Soil based woodland substrate that is great for animals to dig into. It has been designed to provide a deep, soil rich base where humidity can be kept at a higher level than the ambient humidity.
This is perfect for your clean up crew. They can survive in their own burrows, and come out at night to clean. It is also ideal for your animal, who will burrow and tunnel into these areas to maintain hydration and aid with shedding. Meanwhile, we will also include some great accessories to aid with the overall enclosure design, including our pick of the ideal plants, as well as branches and tubes for hiding and climbing.
In this kit, which has been designed a round a 4ft x 2ft enclosure, you will receive:
3x 10L Bags of ForestMix
1x 6kg Bags of BaseMix
1x Cork Tube or Flat
2x Medium Plants
2x Small Plants
3x Tubs of the ideal Custodians
Create a perfect home for your Bearded Dragon, Royal Python or Corn Snake with this ideal starter kit. Also suitable for most Woodland based species, including African Fat Tail Geckos, Fire Skinks and many more. Some contents may vary slightly.
