Whilst we are still trying to keep to our aim of same day dispatch on orders placed before 12, with the increased volumes, this is not always possible at present, especially at the beginning of the week. We will however prioritise live food shipments on these occasions and will get all orders out as quickly as possible.
Despite the recent lack of Royal Mail strike action, their standard shipping services are still very inconsistent. Whilst the majority of items arrive as they should, there are still an unreasonably high volume that are suffering a delay of some form, with these delays also on occasion being far longer than they would have previously been
Royal Mail have stated that they will be continuing to prioritise Tracked Services. Whilst this doesn’t mean that there wont be delays on these services, they should be far more reliable and as such we have introduced these services at the checkout alongside the standard Royal Mail shipping options. We would encourage these are used for any live orders or time sensitive ones and will only be able to offer our Live Arrival Guarantee on orders placed via these Tracked options for the foreseeable future.
We have introduced social distancing in our warehouse to minimise contact between ourselves and protect our workforce, we are also taking the upmost care when touching products and packaging to keep our customers safe. We are also cleaning products when they arrive to us to ensure that we and our customers are safe.
