They need a simple set up, consisting of a small glass or plastic tank, with ventilation and a secure top to avoid any escapees. Use a substrate of coconut fiber mixed with peat or moss. A layer of dead leaves and decaying wood should go on top of your substrate. You can provide your millipede with bark and flat stones for climbing and hiding. Spray on alternate days to keep the substrate damp. Any leaves or wood must be untreated with anything that might harm your millipede.
